“Youth of Science 2024” with SE

On April 25, 2024, the work of the software engineering subsection of the "Information Technologies" section of the International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "Youth of Science 2024" took place.

Our subsection gathered students, postgraduates and lecturers of the department. The participants of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University: Prof. Dr. Petra Haferkorn and Jonathan Theis, master in Computer Science were invited. During the meeting, the participants shared the results of their research, exchanged opinions and experiences. And despite the online format and interruptions due to air alarms, every presented idea received a lively discussion and exchange of ideas.

Within the subsection, 17 reports were given. There were dedicated to the solution of today's urgent tasks in the development of innovative activities and the search for new IT solutions to socially important problems that require fresh ideas from practitioners and scientists. The audience was presented with the results of research devoted to the problems of information security, data storage, application migration, ensuring the quality of digital products, solving issues of providing digital support for volunteer activities, and meeting the urgent needs of logistics in border regions.
